The Master Gardener Program is a volunteer training and leadership program offered by University of Arizona, Maricopa County Cooperative Extension. It provides research-based gardening information to consumers through a network of more than trained horticulture volunteers. Master Gardener’s expertise includes Botany, Plant Problem Diagnosis, Soils, Ornamentals, Pest Management, Fruits, Vegetables and Herbs, Plant Propagation, Turf, Desert-Adapted Landscape Plants, Cacti and Succulents, Composting, and Landscape Design.
Participants are urged to even bring a plant or pest sample for ID. |
